FINALLY DONE WITH CAMPUS, MY EXPERIENCE picture from google Life in campus is truly amazing. I've been here for four years now and have experienced so much, from the thrill of being in a new place to getting to know all of my new classmates. The things that have stood out most to me are the amazing people that I have met here. They are some of the most friendly and welcoming people I've ever come across, which has made it easy for me to get into this new world. picture by Yvonne I'm also really enjoying the fact that we have so many opportunities for fun: classes, clubs and sports are all part of life on campus. There's always something going on that you can join in with if you want! I have finished my campus life, I now have a new perspective on the world and what it means to be alive. I was always a person who had a lot of dreams but never really knew how to make them happen. My family and friends were always telling me that I should do something with my life, but I...

YOUTHS' IMMENSE CONTRIBUTIONS IN TODAY'S WORLD. Picture courtesy, google The state of Kenya's economy in 2022 is one of the toughest Kenya has had in years. It has gotten everyone complaining about the high living standards. The companies available are finding it difficult to employ more people since finances are a huge determinant and that is exactly what they don't have. Most companies have under employees to at least pay them a reasonable amount but then this leads to overworking them. All this has been highly contributed to the COVID-19 virus which hit the world in early 2020. Every nation is trying to revive its economy in the best way they know how. The third world countries, Kenya being one of them, are still suffering immensely from the hit. However, Kenyan youths are trying their level best to use the skills they have learned in higher learning institutions to come up with some solutions. MOMBASA PORT AND ITS IMPACT Mombasa has had ownership of the port and operations running since the time the Portuguese and Arabs came to East Africa for slave trade in the 18th century. In December 2019 however, the previous government shifted the operations from Mombasa to Naivasha. In September 14th this year, the new government ordered the return of the port back to Mombasa. The port has brought immense growth to the economy of Mombasa. Both positively and negatively. Its residents and especially those with qualifications have benefited with jobs hence reducing the dependency rate. Mombasa has gotten back its pride since the port is one of the many things it's known for and what makes it unique compared to other cities. The port is the key entry and exit point for most cargo that are distributed in East African countries. This keeps businesses running smoothly. Those involved in both large scale and small scale businesses are able to run their businesses without the worry of ha...

LET THEM GO! Right now as I lay on my bed am thinking, is there anything more precious than my peace of mind? The only answer am getting is nothing. Yes, because there's totally nothing more important than me and my well being. We wake up daily to ensure we don't starve to death. We ensure we don't expose ourselves to danger because we value life. We want to live another day. But why is it that we can just let someone and anyone play with our feelings? We keep letting them in again and again just because we maybe created endless memories with them. Or we are afraid of being alone. I totally don't get it. Can you imagine keeping on bringing someone close who is clearly causing you tears and pain every time you're together? Where else it's clear you're happier and flourishing when not with them. But we never lack excuses. We always have something good to say about them. Just that one thought that keeps making us let them back in our lives. Now, this is how to...

Falling out of love is okay ! The other day I was in a meeting with some friends of mine and something caught my attention. A lady next to us happened to be complaining of falling out with her guy. The question the people they were with had one common question, was he cheating on her? So it interested me. This is the question most people have when they first hear of someone talking about falling out with their partner. And it really turned out that was never their issue. There are so many other things leading to that. This is the story, the lady and her guy are in a relationship for almost five years now. They, just like other relationships have had their ups and down. But they have broken up severally. The relationship seems to be toxic or should I say they love each other so much to leave each other. The lady also considers the guy unromantic and even has thoughts that the guy might not love her as much as she does. This makes her have doubts of whether she should even be in th...
