The state of Kenya's economy in 2022 is one of the toughest Kenya has had in years. It has gotten everyone complaining about the high living standards. The companies available are finding it difficult to employ more people since finances are a huge determinant and that is exactly what they don't have. Most companies have under employees to at least pay them a reasonable amount but then this leads to overworking them. All this has been highly contributed to the COVID-19 virus which hit the world in early 2020.
Every nation is trying to revive its economy in the best way they know how. The third world countries, Kenya being one of them, are still suffering immensely from the hit. However, Kenyan youths are trying their level best to use the skills they have learned in higher learning institutions to come up with some solutions. Kenya has a total of 23,648,124 youths in 2022, with most of them being those above the age of 15 years.
We have seen projects that have been established by young people and are doing great. One of the projects that I have seen and pushing for is recycling waste materials. A group of youths has set up organizations whereby they pick up plastic bottles and even those that are made of glass and recycle them. The plastic bottles are recycled into fine products to make garden decors and other plastic bottles while the glass bottles are used to make glass tiles, countertops, beads, and a lot more.

This has created employment for so many people both young and old. It has also reduced the crime rate among youths by a huge percentage.
The dependency rate is now low since they can provide for themselves. This move is key to conserving the environment. Youths are forming groups that are turning out to be huge companies. Hand in hand Eastern Africa is one of them. They aim at alleviating poverty through the creation of sustainable enterprises and jobs. They create jobs for people through normal activities and help them through the journey.

The youths have now realized it is upon them to create employment for themselves and others and wait on no one. It is already clear the job market has no place for them in the offices unless they create it by themselves.
